Payback
I am plotting for revenge. I am making a list devious and evil. It will probably be a few years before I have the chance to carry out my plans, so I should have them perfected by then. I cannot wait!
You see, one day my children will decide that they love sleeping in on Saturday mornings. They will want nothing more than to lounge in bed until their hunger wakes them, probably sometime around noon. That is when the time will be right. That is when I will make them pay for all the Saturday mornings like this one that they woke me up before 6 a.m.
Family chore day that starts earlier than school does. Lawn mowers outside of bedroom windows and vacuum cleaners outside bedroom doors. Water balloon attacks – hey, those sheets and blankets need washing anyway. Mom’s karaoke sessions, or yodeling practice, or maybe drum lessons. Time to test all the smoke alarms in the house. The possibilities are endless!
What do you think I should add to my list?

I like that idea! I think their older sister will join me to make it a 2-woman band!
Mine are at the “sleep in” phase. I can't get them up before noon. That has it's own problems.

Mine includes giving their children white Easter dresses with chocolate bunnies and letting THEM get the chocolate stains out.
